Join us for an engaging session to learn and grow your knowledge of Rotary.  RLI is a three part course and each part consists of three 2 hour sessions. 

RLI Part 1 - Spring 2022 - Wed Feb 9th, Wed Feb 16th, Wed, Feb 23rd all from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.  When registering here complete RLI  Part 1 through Part 3 and must do so in sequence. 

All RLI sessions for the 2021/2022 Rotary year will be conducted via Zoom videoconference.  Registered attendees will receive an email with the zoom link on the day of your learning.  Your $20 registration fee will be directed as a donation to The Rotary Foundation.  If your club pays for your RLI registration, please make payment now and request reimbursement from your clubs treasurer.  A registration receipt will be provided.

This year, International Woman's Day is celebrated on Tuesday March 8th! District 7070 is hosting its 2nd annual celebration on our Tuesday Talks on March 8, 2022 as we honour 2 women from our District 7070 to come talk about breaking bias. The District 7070 International Women's Day committee welcomes Virginia O'Reilly (our District 7070 Membership Chair, soon to be confirmed as District Governor Nominee Designate on Feb 13) and Lynda Ryder (District 7070 Past District Governor and current District 7070 Protection Officer) to the stage to talk about their exciting history and experience with District 7070 along with their insight on how to promote and celebrate women's achievement and take action for equality. Please be sure to attend for an insightful series about these inspiring women in our District!

Please join speakers Janice MacDonald - Acting Staff Sergeant of Operationsand Danielle McKeen -  Detective Constable, both from the Cobourg Police Service,  for thise Tuesday Talks on Human Trafficking. They will provide a working definition of Human Trafficking, and show siigns to look for, the "red flags" , including the basic stages of grooming.  They will also highlight common risk factors for victims.  They will discuss provincial and local statistics; Criminal Code offences related to Human Trafficking; and, touch upon why there is a failure for victims to come forward.

The Audley Road clean-up will occur on April 23rd, rain date - April 30th from 9:00-11:00 a.m.  Please meet in the parking lot of the Audley Road Recreation Centre at 8:45 to pick up your bags and a vest.  Make sure to wear comfortable waterproof shoes/boots and gloves.  Please let Past President Bruce know as soon as possible if you intend to assist.

On July 5, Rotary International President Jennifer Jones will be in Toronto to showcase the impact of Rotary's many projects and partnerships. This includes the Great Lakes Watershed Cleanup, a multi-district Rotary project, and Rotary's partnership with Kids Against Hunger Canada on a food packing initiative that engages community members to address hunger in Canada and around the world. President Jennifer will close out the day with a fun-filled Imagine Rotary BBQ hosted at the Toronto Botanical Garden.
